The Higher, The Better!!

Trail Harvest Crew

We love to ride trails.....so we started building back in 1990 while we were in Grade 10 at the age of 16. We built our first trail named Black Diamond out at Comox Lake. And kept building and building. Before we knew it, we had created 12 trails by 1997. By this time a lot of us had started to move to the funky, old mining town of Cumberland. With a stones throw away to the trails from any of the three pubs, we knew this was the next frontier and home forever! One of us even has his own bike shop(Dodge City Cycles). Within the same old building, constructed in 1887, another of us owns a hostel(Riding Fool Hostel). Some of the more notable trail names include Knuckers, Bucket Of Blood, Hui-Gui, Broadway 06', Bakers Dozen & Cupcake. And several more planned for the next 5 yrs. The fall season brings us the best conditions for constructing new trails(it's easier when all the leaves have fallen plus it's wettier so we have a better idea for drainage). Flowy trails are our objective. Stunts can be built later. Stay tuned to the news section for when we recruit for trail builders. That's all folks!!
